Like every 3-4 months, MigraCode Barcelona is organising JobVersity: The most Diverse Talent Acquisition Event in BCN! The event is open for any tech company that is looking for new tech talent. Hiring our students is cost-free and will simultaneously create a big social impact.
How do you bring more than 50 people together, raise funds for a good cause, put in a huge, shared physical challenge and with all that, eventually support refugee and migrant communities through free education? The answer is surprisingly simple: through cycling.

MigraCode code school for refugees and migrants in Barcelona currently has two openings for volunteers in the CodeWomen Project Team. The position of team volunteer is focused on web development (JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, NodeJS, Express, PostgreSQL), and this knowledge is a must for this position.
In the weekend of the 12th of June, more than 25 cycling fanatics will be riding between 90 and 220 kilometers in the Catalan Pyrenees to raise funding and awareness for our program and the situation of our students. Donate now!
For a period of 12 months, starting in July 2021, MigraCode Barcelona looking for a technical ESC trainee. The position is focussed on web development/programming and knowledge of this is a must for this position.

Do you have a background in web development, but are you also interested in social projects and education? Come work for Migracode Barcelona, the first code academy for refugees and migrants in Barcelona. Make a difference for our students by using both your technical and social skills as Head of Technical Education.
We are urgently looking for people with a legal background to support our students: you could be a lawyer, but also social workers/educators who have experience in writing appeals or have knowledge about asylum processes can definitely help.
